Al and I will talk coffee as I always enjoy my cup of Tim Horton's.

Probably do need to find that beer thread and get it back into action.  That was a fun one.  Maybe just turn it into a food/drink thread.

 QUOTE:
Al does not enjoy the deliciousness that is beer let alone all the wonder alcohol has to offer.  He'll talk a mean streak about soda however!

I'll second that.  Beer?  Alcohol?  Just don't enjoy any of it at all.

Now, let me get back to my ginormous Coke.....

I think some people follow the rule very well, the one that is in DC comics or Marvel when they have some prizes "No people affiliated with DC can take part in this" or whatever they say. If there is something that I may have any connections to I simply don't take part in that discussion here on the JBF, because I "can't".

Buy my socks! By Lars's socks! Best Quality!

A self-promoting sig-line on JB's forum is so beyond lameness to me. How can you go to a star site and promote your own whatever it is? It's not a serious real crime, but what is the idea? "I want to show everybody that I'm an asshole so I take advantage of this site instead of paying for commercial space like everybody decent person would"?

Hey, I only don't drink beer because, well, I'm already this charming. Can you imagine how charming I'd be if I'm drunk?!?

I know a thing or two about Ten Penny, since I used to work at the Dartmouth Moosehead Brewery until they closed it down in 1993. I remember the draft tap in the lunchroom with fondness. And the "clink" of the bottles that were hidden in the pockets of the guys working the Aging Cellars who might be looking for a quiet place to have a break from work.

Ah, good times.

I can't imagine Al being more charming just by adding alcohol, though. There are some things even beer can't do!

My use of the word charming may have needed quotation marks.

Besides...shouldn't it be the other way around?  WE need the alcohol for Al to become charming?

What?

Look, Al!  Over there...it's JD's baby-mama!
