If sig lines weren't OK, we wouldn't be able to use them.

As you wish.

I'm not saying that there aren't some rules and considerations to be aware of. But they're here and they're turned on. Until you decide otherwise, of course.

I hadn't even realized that I was using a sig line - I haven't edited my profile since I first created my account.  Sure, it was only my signature (- Brian), but I've since removed it due to the redundant redundancy of it.

Avatars?  Yea!

Sig Lines?  Boo!

Wow.  Classy!  Don't give a shit what JB thinks on his own board.

Of my signature line? No, I don't. It's a meaningless little signature line.

Look, the point here to my mind is this: If the content of people's signature lines has become an onerous issue, turn 'em off and move on.

Get snarky all you want, but that's my job, Al.  Remind me never to invite you over to my house for fear that you don't give a shit about something you consider "little" but that may bug the crap out of me.

"Hey, you may not care about that, but it bugs the crap out of me" would be a great way to start, though.

Certainly less negative and confrontational than a sarcastic "Classy."

Just responding to what you wrote, Al.  Really.  You have no problem saying you don't give a shit about what John thinks on his own board?  Too bad he has a problem with it, but it doesn't bother you?

Yeah, I think calling your initial response "classy" was the right response.

I hope the sig lines are not eliminated.
