If Jodi was in charge of the Democratic Party, I'd move TO the States just to be able to vote for her!

Sorry Brad. The leadership of the political parties is more of a "interview and get hired" kind of job, not an elected one. That's not to say there aren't a lot of politics involved with getting hired...

The problem with that is most everyone in my area would be ok with that.

As much as I find ignorant, racist, politically illiterate and socially irresponsible morons like the Moral Majority to be abhorrent, I would find it even more abhorrent if they were to be wiped out by violence through another Civil War.
Find another way!

If I was in charge of the democratic party, I would be running commercials up until may showing all the bad behavior of the tea party events...
I don't think that's a winning strategy. People who are not racists, don't like being called racists. People who are not ideologically committed, do not like it when their friends and neighbors, despite their own first hand knowledge, are called racists; and they tend to vote against a party that would make that claim. Generally speaking, people don't like it when their politicians attack one another, but they really don't like it when their politicians attack them. So what does that mean in this case? Well, remember the comic book character Sebastian Shaw? Remember his super-power? This is sort of the same; every time it comes under attack, the tea party movement swells in both voice and numbers. First the movement was referred to as astroturf, then the activists were called GOP dupes, then they were called sour-grapes hypocrites, then they were written off as uneducated kooks and troglodytes, and now they're called racists and militia-inspired potential domestic terrorists.
Or, we could take them at their word and believe that they are simply everyday people starting midstream with a center-right predisposition, and who are primarily concerned with the current state of deficit spending, but who are moving further everyday to the right in response to politically motivated attacks that attempt to delegitimize the movement, rather than addressing the primary concern.

Joseph I am sorry but I don't buy your reasoning, the more exposure the klan got the less people join. Bully's work best in the dark, they are like roaches.
Joseph if these tea baggers were interested in solving real problems, they would not have been told to disrupt town hall meetings. Let's not forget this memo
Oh and here is video of the tactics in action

People who are not racists, don't like being called racists... they really don't like it when their politicians attack them... every time it comes under attack, the tea party movement swells in both voice and numbers.

---
So what you're saying is, because they were accurately called out on being GOP and Fox news dupes and sour-grapes hypocrites, they grew into and became the uneducated kooks, troglodytes, and racist militia-inspired potential domestic terrorists they are now?
So calling them on THAT is going to turn them into what? Real domestic terrorists? They going to start lynching black people in the streets just to prove us wrong for calling them racists? They going to cheer on a guy flying a plane into a federal building... oh wait, they already did that one.
Basically, your whole spiel comes down to "they're only becoming a racist, terrorist wannabe mob because that's what you're calling them!" So these people don't have the maturity or the moral conviction to make their own decisions? They are incapable of self-restraint? They have no sense of personal responsibility? They just do whatever they want and when they're called on it they say "well the other guy started it!"
If someone calls me a thief, I don't go out and steal a car to prove them right. "Well, I got called a thief, so it's not my fault I stole this car, it's the person who called me a thief!"

Their primary concern is the same as everyone else's - they would enjoy a government with a balanced budget. /shakes head in disgust. Moving on! Jodi - the thread was called "Born out of time" and was popular over the weekend, but fell off to the second page - I bumped it up for you. Brad, I'm not calling for a civil war - but I also won't shy from it. All the Republicans have at this point is fear - they're using fear to get their base all riled up and they're trying to use fear to get the left to be compliant, but I refuse to give in to fear. I'd prefer if they woke up and realized how they're acting - that would be the best-case scenario. But if it comes to it, I won't back down from them.
