To Michael Retour:  Jodi asked you to provide proof about these campaigns you mentioned previously.  Please do so.  Just a link to the newspaper showing that you actually did run and lost.  Nothing more is needed.

By the way, I did so some research to see if anyone by the name of Michael Retour ran for office anywhere in the USA....   I came up with nothing.  So I think I know why Michael is afraid to say anything now.

Oh, and about that OpEd piece by Dave Lindorff, why don't we let an actual attorney decide if Obama should be impeached.  The book Lindorff wrote?  He was the writer part, the attorney part was Barbara Olshansky.  He wrote her words when it came to impeaching Bush and his cronies.

Now then, while I hate some of the things that's going on (like warrantless spying), it is within the limits of the law.  A law that Bush and his cronies implemented.  And it's a law that cannot just be undone with the wave of a Presidential order.  It needs to go through Congress.  So, no, it's not an impeachable offense.

Nor is the use of Predator drone aircraft, though it is open to interpretation.  Be that as it may, read this.  It was submitted to the House of Representatives Subcommittee on National Security and Foreign Affairs by one Kenneth Anderson.  Mr. Anderson is a Professor of Law at Washington College of Law and a member of the Task Force on National Security and Law.

I'll take Anderson over Lindroff in this one, Michael.

Short version of Ann Coulter in Ottawa: The provost of the University of Ottawa sent an open letter to Coulter reminding her of Canadian hate speech laws. This got a mob riled up and they blockaded the theatre. The Ottawa police department insisted she pay for extra security to go ahead with the event. They canceled instead.

I don't care for the woman, but Coulter has spoken before in Canada without major incident, and the provost ginned up the lunatic fringe. It was pretty shameful. Frankly, the university should have had to pony up the extra scratch for security. Without that letter, the event likely would have gone like her talk at the University of Waterloo a few days earlier or at the University of Calgary a few days later (i.e. without incident).

The Ann Coulters and John Edwardses of the world are pretty much the same. Give them enough rope, let them talk long enough, and they do themselves in.

Posting a link to a newspaper where it shows your name and that you ran for office (as Jodi did) won't reveal much.... other than to prove that you're not a liar.  But, by now, everyone has seen that you are, so your arguments hold little weight now.

Oh, and I posted an actual legal document give to the US House of Representatives that was submitted by a real lawyer and one who has far better knowledge that you or me or Lindroff....  I'll take that over anything else you can post.

Giving election results are published in the newspaper, but if you had actually ran, you would know that.
