Paul, can you tell me how the saying "monkey see, monkey do" is racist?  That's what the sign Jodi showed said.  And if somehow you think that it's racist, then did you complain when Ringo Starr sang those words in a song?  Or Eminem sang them?  For Pete's sake, it means following someone else doing something, without thinking of the consequences.  It's really convoluted thinking to infer that saying is racist when it was being directed to the House of Reps, when it's mostly white people there.

Paul, you're making a lot of assumptions there.  First of all I don't condone or condem the sign in question.  I just don't think that a crude drawing of Obama on that sign is racism.  There is plenty of real racism out there, like the person yelling at the congresswoman that Jodi posted, to deal with.    Sadly, that can only be cured with education and the passage of time.  Even the Democratic Party eventually warmed up to the idea of treating minorities equal and civil rights, so anything is possible.  But let me tell you this, the more people scream "RACIST" at every little thing imaginable, the word itself becomes less powerful.  It's getting close to "the boy who cried wolf" syndrome already now.

You also say that I have hatred of Obama.  Nope, not at all.  I've said here before several times that I believe that he believes he is doing the right thing.  I happen to disagree with a lot of what he is doing.  That's not hatred.  I wish him and his family a long and healthy life.  I hope when he leaves office, he will make tons of money writing books and on the lecture circuit.  I also hope that the next phase of his life will start on Jan. 21, 2013.
