Matt nah, I am what I said.  If a couple of jokers here don't think so, yawn.

So you calling me a racist is just laughable.
********************

Never called you a racist Jeff. I said you were either a fool or a liar. You don't seem like a fool to me. You claim you need some list of words outlining what is or isn't considered offensive. As if comparing a black person (complete with text book racist caricature) to a monkey is something new that people have just made up. Either you are experiencing cognitive dissonance and can't come to grips that this person holding a sign is a racist or you are lying about not knowing the name and imagery are racist in context.

It's pretty open and shut. You either condone a sign like that or you condemn it. There is no grey area to a sign like that. I'll concede that you are free to create a sign like that. Will you concede that it is a filthy racist sign?

Think of all those minorities and disabled people you have helped in the past, Jeff. Wouldn't they want their pal Jeff to stand up one more time in helping the cause?

Those of us who have opinions about you and who you are and what you come off as have built those opinions entirely on your own words.

Give us something else to go on.  I'd love to not think that you're something other than what I've had no other options but to conclude.

Al actually, you built what you say you believe - and I don't believe you for a minute - based on what you believe in.

I've seen you interact with other forum members the same way.  You can believe what you like.  It doesn't matter Al.  You're not a serious man.

Built it from your words here in this thread.

Michael,

You know, I had this conversation with my teenage daughter a few days ago. Unnecessary evasion is an attention getting device. Personally, I don't care about your CV, but you can see how engaging in gamesmanship needlessly irritates others and inhibits healthy debate. A lot of typing over something that shouldn't be a big deal.

I know.  I should have called him a troll and put him on ignore ages ago.

My brother was an alcoholic, though, who used to beat me 'because he could' (his words), and now it's hardwired in to my character to call out the scumbags and assholes in the world and demand that no one else be fooled by them.  Trying to create justice for how I was treated as a kid, I guess.

Gosh, maybe I am a rage ball.

Matt I had the same conversation with my 24 year old daughter.  Nice try Matt - better luck next time.

Unnecessary evasion?  lol  - Have you read this thread?  One guy says something about Obama and he is called a racist, a-hole, tea bagger, whatever invective the small mind can come up with.

What I see here is a lot of childish name calling and temper tantrums from so-called grown men.

Al Cook said he has had to endure my posts for four years.  Poor Al.  I say he enjoys it and this is a game for him.  He is bored.

You?

I ran for office, as I said.  I managed congressional campaigns and am a Democrat for the immediate impeachment of Obama.  My wife won her election.

Gamesmanship?  Reread the thread here.  Look who calls folks names simply because they oppose Obama's hecatomb of death.

My career is a big deal and not subject to nonsense.  I worked hard to get where I am.  Dismiss me if you like.  Not  a big deal, won't change a thing.

There has been some good discussion in this thread trying to encourage people to recognize and then decry racism.  Who got called a racist?  Which JBF member was called a racist?  Where is that post?

I said you've been posting for four years.  It wasn't an 'endurance' thing.

There have been no temper tantrums thrown.  Just a lot of honest, hard questions that you have your clever excuses for evading.

Everyone has your number now, though, so you can relax and enjoy your irrelevance.

How many seats will the Obama Democrats (those who will get in the Titanic with Obama) lose in November?

Jane Hamsher, founder of the left-Democratic firedoglake blog, characterized Obama's bill as a step towards "fascism" on Mar 17.  "If indeed this bill passes," she continued, "people across the country will have to start examining the basic assumptions with which we have heretofore approached politics."

"Rather than actually helping the poor, this bill is a dangerous and unprecedented step on the road to domination of government by private corporate players who use it to suppress competition and secure their profits — the textbook definition of fascism." -  http://fdlaction.firedoglake.com/2010/03/17/dennis-kucinich- will-return-money-to-donors/

Of course, this Democratic Party opposition to Obama isn't "real" is it?
