which reduces the Presidency to a transitory position, able to be removed at a whim. Why bother continuing to elect them?

As far as I can tell the argument is that if Bush should have been impeached, and Obama didn't stop doing all the impeachable crap Bush did, he should go too.

I'm sorry Michael, but you may as well have used a bumper sticker as your rationale.

What would it have said?  The bumper sticker?

Remember people this is an example of Michael :

"I am a registered Democrat, ran for office as a Democrat."

and more Michael:

"M O'Brien thanks.  I am just one American here voicing his beliefs.  I am a Democrat and have managed Congressional campaigns in Orange Co. in the 1990s.  I am not a Republican or I would say so and if  I was I'd be a Lincoln one and not these clowns they have in there today."

I ask:
Michael:" I am a Democrat and have managed Congressional campaigns in Orange Co. in the 1990s."

Me: Who were the politicians?

Michael: "I am a registered Democrat, ran for office as a Democrat."

Me: What office and where?

And this is the answer I get:

Soylent Green is people!

When pressed further on that info about running for office and managed a campaign, which is very public. He explains he can't tell us because he is some top secret super spy.

So expecting a nonsensical reply should be expected when asking michael a question. Seriously the ignore button is a really great feature.

...and once again, no direct answer to a direct question.  Put him back on ignore, Jodi.  His irrelevance is choking out good debate.

Al he is on ignore, I just knew he was still posting, by Jim and Mike trying to make sense of his posts and I wanted to show them what they are dealing with.

OK here is something I was blown away by and Matthew since you have read the whole bill maybe you can clear this up. I read on digg the right is now saying that Obama is a racist because he is taxing sun tanning and who uses tanning beds, yep white people. Proof positive he is a racist.

Oh, I think I have figured it out Jodi.  Just took me a minute longer than it did you and Al.  This guy is no political insider.  At best, I think he has some skill with Google and Wiki.

Based on the 2 email replies I've received so far, you are 100% correct.  No surprise there.

Again it comes down to liar or using a fake name on here.

"Rather than actually helping the poor, this bill is a dangerous and unprecedented step on the road to domination of government by private corporate players who use it to suppress competition and secure their profits — the textbook definition of fascism."

Except that isn't a definition of fascism at all.  A definition of capitalism more like it.

Either way, it's a lie.

"domination of government by private corporate players who use it to suppress competition and secure their profits — the textbook definition of fascism."

No. The textbook definition of fascism is when the government (authoritarian of course) takes control over corporations and labor unions and determines the proper division of profits and benefits (i.e. how much goes to corporate, how much to workers and how much to the state).

Fascism has no interest in suppressing competition. That would only serve to strengthen the corporations in relation to government. Fascism thrives on divisions.

A domination of government by private corporate players would probably be closer to an oligarchy or plutocracy.
