I'm very tempted to add a spy called Donald Flanders to my next 60's story [for something] and see if anyone makes the connection.

JB, would that amuse you, or would it be presumptious. I absolutely won't if it would generate a flyspeck of justifiable eyes-to-heaven-rolling.

Sounds every bit as obscure as I like to make my own little "in jokes".

Go for it!

Nice cover and a great nod by AP. I'm feeling that series may become JB's very own "Sin City" in terms of creator-owned sucess!

I wonder what it is about COLD WAR that has caused this, of all my recent work, to capture the attention of the real world press?

Grateful for it, of course, but I was curious when Chris Ryall emailed yesterday to say the AP had some questions about the series.

All right!

Robert Ludlum lend a hand for that title?

Excellent cover, JB!!  Our first look at Swann - and he's got the drop on us already.  Put down that gun, Swann, I'm on your side!

The cover has a great 50s feel to it, I don't know if it's the type set, art, the missile with CCCP on it. Probably all of the above.....Great cover.

••

If you mean "The Damocles Contract", since Swann is a "freelancer" all his missions -- at least, those detailed in this series -- are "contracts", and the titles will reflect this. Upcoming include (in no particular order) "The Seven Cardinals Contract", "The Little Princess Contract", and "The Armageddon Contract".

That cover looks great and those titles have me wanting more before I've even read the first story. I'm really excited about this one.

I'm definitely excited by this.  And here's hoping that there's not a long wait between "Contracts"!  :-)
