DAP: I had that same feeling looking through Steve Rude's sketchbooks. It's awe-inspiring.

Wow! I am really impressed with everyone's work!

JT, that must be an awesome feeling to be finished! That's been a great run!

Bill that historical project is very well done!

And great stuff again from Joe. Great inking!

David, that really is great stuff there. The line work is very clean. My attempts at comic art have been just waaaaay too busy. I try to cram too much into one panel. You tell a story fluidly with images and its a great talent!

Here's my latest piece. Playing with it in photoshop. It's dark, but it's kind of in the style of the old D&D art from the first editions (with a mix of Lord of the Rings). It was a fun project. But I didn't like how the coloured version turned out...

Jack Kirby's Mister Miracle - This one was fun and came together nicely. I couldn't do Mister Miracle without a sense of impending doom. I was trying to see what I could do and sketched everything in. When I looked for reference I found a very similiar drawing so I changed mine up a bit and stole the jet on the feet thing right from Jack Kirby! When I originally drew this it was going to be underwater. But I liked this better. :)

Comic Strip with morals, humor, and truths.
Hopefully well drawn!

Nice work, guys.

Dale, have you thought about re-coloring the picture and making the lightning bolt (or whatever that spell is supposed to be) blue instead of yellow?

Thanks Brian. No, I hadn't thought of using the blue. But now that you say it I think blue would work a lot better than the yellow-ish bolt. Let me give that a try and see how it works.

Jack Kirby's Hulk - I've drawn The Hulk a bunch of times over the years. This is the first time I have drawn Jack's Frankensteinesqe version. This was fun to do. I ike drawing headshots of characters and I am very happy how this one came out. Thanks for looking.
