@ Mal:

Like getting glimpses of your work here.  It seems that you're getting better with experience.  You also seem to have something for Deathstroke the Terminator.  Pretty much close to the model provided by George Perez there.

@ Joe:

Neat little series of sketches for a variety of subjects.  Dug the Beavis & Butthead scene; those were the days on MTV, when things were still just a little cool to watch (before all the game shows, "Reality TV" shows, and such replaced the remaining music videos).  That biker chick looks cute (is she a real person or not?).

Anywho, here's a little something I jammed together within the past couple of days on my spare time:

I was coming up with this scene as a possible splash panel for the comic story that I have been throwing around.  It serves to establish the setting of the series -- not so much a 'post-Apocalyptic' story as one depicting what comes when civilization manages to revive itself afterwards.

Nice splash!

Yep, Kayla works for me now at the restaurant/bar. I stole her from (wait for it) HOOTERS. AND she's a motocross engine technician and racer.

she's on the right.

Nice catch, Joe!  I generally go to a Hooters once in a while, though mostly for the wings and some seafood items.

Something else from my "sketchdump" sheets below:

I guess I wanted to try an offbeat character design.  Started out as some sort of powered armor, then I added the medieval-style weapons and chain mail.  "Iron Troll" seems to fit the bill.

Haven't been in here in awhile! Here's some concept scribblings I just did at work for Vol. 2 of my little project "The Sapphire Spectre".

(Now it's time to go back a few pages and check out stuff I've missed!)

I tried posting this earlier this morning, but the 'Net was having serious hiccups, so here it is again:

One of the latest productions in my sketchdump.  Basically, I've taken another jab at character design here, but still have bugs to iron out... the character "Gade" I envisioned as being a little leaner and more weathered in the face, like the 60-ish veteran of extensive guerrilla warfare should.

This shows my propensity towards "beefing up" my portraits a little too much.

Working on something that could be an opening page for a comic:

This may end up in my sketchdump.  I'm kind of thinking that there's something missing in the page.  Perhaps the explosion should take up more of the page, and I need to redo the landmarks in the foreground?

Ah, the trials of drawing the perfect comicbook page...
