Gun, finished.

I am taking drawing classes with a Bulgarian artist. He's a real stickler for
academicism. It's been only a couple of months, but already a real
education.

Working on a little gag strip for my original characters.  Something to keep the creative juices flowing.

In this one panel, a sort of imaginary vision of the main character's mind put her teammate and rival in an unflattering 'Ms Puritan Schoolmarm' light.  The main character is a bit of a libertine, while her rival was raised in a conservative Southern Catholic household that views much of what she does as immorality.  Though they cooperate as part of the team, this doesn't prevent 'M*A*S*H' incidents from happening.  (Think Hawkeye Pierce against Major Burns.)

Good morning, folks!

Some interesting stuff from JT Malloy there.  I've got guesses about who the character in the wedding veil is, but I'll leave it up to him to show us what's going to happen here.

I'm also impressed with Flavio's work on the gun sketch, which shows us the value of practice when it comes to rendering real life objects.  I'm curious as to why the ammo barrel is missing, though.  Was it presented that way by the instructor?

I'm liking Mal's "Roos with Uzis" piece.  I could see a joke that could be made from this: "Oi, mate!  I caught sight of a bloke waddlin' through the bush to the right."

I could also add props for Dale and Stéphane, but we're getting a little short on space here.  Good work all around.

Now, for my latest piece: a preview of a comic strip that I'll be putting up on DeviantART.com:

Still plugging away.

I threw this together over a few free hours today and yesterday.  A model sheet for the three female protagonists in my story concept.  I wonder whatever happened to the idea of one?  It seems that almost no one stays on-model these days...
