Really nice seeing you and your work again Teod!

A few more touch-ups and "Marbles" will be finished:

I love spending a few days or weeks away from this thread and then coming back to find all sorts of visual goodies.  Great stuff!

Teod, some of your stuff reminds me a lot of old TOOL videos; beautiful and creepy at the same time!

This is a character design I did earlier; part of a project I'm working on with a writer friend of mine.

Hey Guys thanks for the comments:)

Bill I like the way you use color and you really got some subtle depth with that marble piece.

Thanks Ronald! Funny thing is I was the lead artist on the first Tool video "Sober", and I did character design for their 2nd "Prison Sex". Also they used one of my paintings for the cover of their cd single of Prison Sex. So ya I have a bit of a connection with those guys. Somewhere in this HUGE sketchbook thread, a few years back I posted one of the character design sketches for PS.

@ Ronald Joseph:

Looks like you're almost there.  Just a few samples circulated at prospective editors at the cons, and a few submissions to publishers away, in fact.

Here are some of my latest:

l to r: 1) A Gaul, 2) a Roman general, 3) a thumbnail of a page which may appear on the first issue of my comicbook if it gets published.

A note on that Gaul and Roman.  I was inspired a bit by the latest issues of John Byrne's current Next Men series, where (unnamed) Romans make their appearance in a time travel scenario.  Although it might not've been the case, I was thinking that John had given Julius Caesar (who was using a war against invading Germanic tribes as an excuse to conquer the whole of Gallic Europe) some "airtime", like he had done with President Lincoln.  There was also this little scrap thumbnail that I drew up where a trio of alien warriors clashed with "Gauls".

(Note to self: Do NOT post until you have spellchecked yourself!)

Ok... just finished a Wonder Woman piece.
I find her EXCEPTIONALLY hard to draw, but I think this turned out ok.
Shading in some areas was tricky and the background photoshop/manip/paint was crap...but in the end, it worked.
