Sketched this one at the Baltimore Comic Con yesterday (as of this posting):

The guest of honor was none other than the Man himself -- Stan Lee.  I wasn't in the VIP seating, so this was all I could make out of the old boss.  Still, it was a treat to be able to hear him speaking in person.  He still manages to get around at his age.

Would've loved to have gotten around to asking him about his memories of the Fantastic Four.  This year being their 50th anniversary, you'd think that someone would've come up with that, but I waited too long and it was time to go.  Stan did have something to say, which I could've heard it wrong, but it went along the lines of "I don't know who's in the FF these days."

Quite a jocular fellow, Stan is.  They said that laughter is the best medicine, and perhaps the Man's vitality at 90 is an example of it.  Even a summer cold doesn't keep him down!

Great stuff guys!

Pretty excited to have some work published. Should be out in September. Here's some samples...

PS: Thanks for the tips guys on colouring. I think I still have a ways to go. But it's getting easier.

Congratulation Dale.  What's the name of the project you'll be published in?  Good luck with it.

Thanks so much Glenn. It's for an independant book publisher. He said that I could reveal the information around September 5th, once the book is published. This is probably going to be my biggest project yet, with over 20 books in the series. Hopefully this will get some good exposure too! :)

That's great man...any exposure is good exposure at this point.  I'm penciling an independent project myself to be published in first quarter '12.  Will be posting work here and giving info for interested folks when appropriate.

Thanks again Glenn. I can't wait to see the work.

I may not always comment but I usually come by here to get inspiration.

There's such a GREAT talent pool of artists here in addition to JB. And with JB's experience within the comic field I find this place a great place to come to!

Here's some more work. This time from the more feminine side (mostly)!

Variations for costume design...

I had to draw a nurse... but they thought she was "too sexy" so they asked me to dress her a little bit...

Still too sexy... then I give them this:

And now they say she is too real... Damn!
