Caleb, your stuff is great. Your line work reminds me of a Michael Golden/ Terry Austin combination

Thank you JT, Dave and Jeff.

For too long I've been FAR too critical of my own work. I've drawn enormous inspiration from this particular thread as well as JB's body of work over the years. It finally dawned on me that if an artists style is ever improving, you are always going to look back on your work and see where improvements can be made.

So sitting stagnant waiting to perfect your style, will NEVER give you room to grow.

Was asked to draw a generic political cartoon for a text book. This is that.

In many ways that is the truth, Bill.  These days, I sometimes feel that the poison pens ought to come out against both sides of the aisle equally.

Keeping myself busy, as well...

The group of kids are aliens.  I have this concept of a race of aliens who reproduce a bit like birds, usually producing batches of 3 eggs they lay in a nest every few years or so (odd life cycle dictated by the length of their original homeworld's "year").  The kids then gather into larger groups like creches of penguin hatchlings and have to be watched by a select group of older kids (usually one of their siblings) while the parents are away at work.  Kind of like having a daycare run by your teen babysitter.

Somehow, the Earth girl gets involved and learns just how much these kids already do at 6 months old...

Ogre Magi Sword Mage with War Tattoo...

Pencil work, manually inked and digitally coloured a la Photoshop!

Keep the good work coming guys! This place is an inspiration to me!
