Felt compelled to sketch in the background. Now trying to pull myself away for the night. Can hardly wait to begin painting tomorrow!

Just finished putting in flat colors to work out the color scheme. Now the fun starts of trying to make it all look real.

Bill, I saw the work on facebook. And thanks again for the PM showing the development of the artwork too. I can't wait to see the finished work.

What is the significance of this fantastic four scene?

To the best of my memory The Marvel Treasury Edition: Fabulous Fantastic Four is the first FF comic I ever owned (received it as a Christmas present when I was 7 yrs old) and I was pretty blown away by it. This scene especially struck me as cool because I could relate to playing superhero and because these kids got to meet their heroes "for real."
