this is going to look REALLY odd, but, this afternoon I sat down exHAUsted and drew the center characters. Took a huge 5 hour nap, had dinner and a few beers (Orvel Trappist? Sure!), came home, took another hour nap, and then grabbed the old pad. What the hell??!

Finished.  Made the eyes a tad larger and more sympathetic and touched up some details.

Not my usual style, but it's a commissioned piece, so why not?

I have to say I am fascinated with Greta Garbos face, not that I got it that well, I sort of gave her a Latino vibe. Have looked at a lot of images of her recently and she is stunning. What is also interesting is that she acted in silent films and then Talkies so we always see her in black and white. From what I understand her eyes were blue and her hair light so that defiantly would have added a different dimension to her look. I will be colorizing the image above as the next lesson I will be teaching is a  focus on color theory. I will make her eyes blue as the local color and then impact it with the color of the chosen light.
