I did this for a friend. Ever since John Cassady has drawn Captain America's every single scale, he's makes it hard not to do the same.

Never did ANYTHING Star Wars related before, this was a commission for a Christmas piece.

Getting back into the practice after a busy holiday...

Took the time to start up a quick sketchcard piece while out shopping yesterday.  Had stopped by an independent art supply store up in the Ardmore, PA area that carried a fairly big selection of tools and media.  I wanted to get new brushes for the inking work (a set of Cotman III watercolor brushes in sizes #000, #2, and #4).

This was done using the 0.3mm Pentel GraphGear 500 leadholder with HB lead (the softest grade available for that size).  The next tool purchase, which I hope to be able to do after landing a new job, will likely be a set of Rapidograph pens...
