Just noticed, I think we should be following the arrow.

Since I did the covers in two sections, thus two pieces of art, I signed each roughly in the middle. So covers 1 & 2 got "John" and covers 3 & 4 got "Byrne". The arrow was my way of indicating "
to be continued".

Very sharp. There's a commercial insurance claims adjuster quaking in his boots right now because judging from what's gone before, there's going to be more payouts shortly!

A subtext of TRIO, this series, and the as-yet-untitled third part of the "anthology" is that, by virtue of my using an unnamed, imaginary city, I can unleash upon it the kinds of damage that would really come from superheroes battling baddies downtown. And no need to establish conveniently derelict warehouses and tenements being on the receiving end of the carnage!

city tour guide: "this was the thriving downtown of our fair city, now it's mostly tenements and empty warehouses. we rebuilt the major parts of our city underground, 'cause up here all kinds of havoc gets unleashed pretty regularly." looking forward to this, JB! so... if there are five members of this new team, would it be dubbed QUINTO? ;)

The inking of the central figure's, the dark highlighted areas, immediately made me think "Tom Palmer".
If JB were handed X-Men: Hidden Years today, he'd be doing it all.
