Golgotha image on the second page is just plain awesome!•• This "anthology" -- TRIO, HELIX and YET-TO-BE-TITLED -- is going to become home to quite a few "familiar faces". I just hope readers will remember the only actual "universe" involved here is the one inside my head, and not worry too much about how some people got from A to Z! (I DID offer something of an "explanation" for Golgotha showing up, as you will all recall -- but I'm not going to do that every time!)

I am not worried JB, bring it on! OH YEAH! This is going to be awesome. I can't wait for my head to explode. I have and idea of who they may be for the Yet-TO-BE-TITLED book. Well at least I hope it is them.

I gotta say, silly as it sounds, i love what JB has been doing with the sound effects!!! His pages LOOK like comic book pages should look like to me!

His pages LOOK like comic book pages should look like to me!•• Yeah -- it took a wee while to slip back into that particular saddle, but now that I have it feels perfectly natural to once again be using sound effects.

I'm glad you're going with that approach, JB. In BATMAN & CAPTAIN AMERICA
no explanation was offered for the heroes being in the same universe, and
that was about as close to a perfect single-issue comic book as I've ever
read!

In BATMAN & CAPTAIN AMERICA no explanation was offered for the heroes being in the same universe, and that was about as close to a perfect single-issue comic book as I've ever read!•• I borrowed there from the cross-company crossovers that had gone before. SUPERMAN vs THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN offered no explanation of how the titular heroes could "suddenly" be in the same "universe". They just WERE, and, significantly, ALWAYS HAD BEEN. (Thank you, Gerry Conway!) It was the anal retentive fanboys coming to power at Marvel and DC that led to a "need" to "explain" how such meetings could happen. And, of course, once that started it became more and more incestuous and inbred. Oh, and by the way, Wallace, I'm thinking of you when I speak of characters appearing without explanation. I don't want you in the vanguard of those with exploding heads!

After seeing the last three pages I am blown away! Thanks for posting them Nathan! It seems like there is only the space of one month between the end of Doomsday and the start of Triple Helix. I won't have to wait long to get my next Byrne fix!
