I've been keeping my eyes open for a spinner rack for the last couple of years.I know I can get one online but I'm going to go the old fashioned way on this one.

Flea market and garage sale season is about over so I'll give it a shot again next year.

BTW, if I had the surroundings JB has I may be inspired to draw more often. Love it!

As a Marvel/DC fan from the 70's/80's, I wonder if the charge I get from seeing these commissions is the same that a fan from the 40's/50's got when they saw new work  in the 70's/80's from the comic art heroes of their youth? Like when CC Beck came back to Captain Marvel (er, I mean "Shazam") or Alex Shomburg did something for "the Invaders".
Can a  young comic fan "see" these commissions the same as me? I mean, I want to turn the page and start reading!!

Wow!
Love the relief on the strappy-parts of Thor's boots. For some reason it makes him look even stronger!

I love this type of commission with the real Avengers. The Byrne/Pérez-pencilled period is one of my favorite Avengers era!
Two things: No Wasp?! and Ms.Marvel shouldn't have energy powers at the time!

Did the commissioner ask for both things?

Manuel, you are right, Ms.Marvel didn't have energy powers in the era that this commission depicts, BUT in this shot she is wearing energy dampening gloves developed by Hank Pym to negate the powers of the Absorbing Man.
The story is all right there in the image of course! :)
