After several years of pining away for one of the hardest to find JB books, I've finally procured one. As promised several years ago in another thread, I bought a CGC copy and freed it from it's tomb to enjoy.

I'm very pleased to be able to have this in my collection :)

The framing art on the cover is not mine, btw.

Congrats Casey.
I've had my copy since the early 80's and had JB sign it for me at the the 1991 SDCC.

Edited for spelling

Bert - That's awesome. If I had the opportunity I would've loved to have this signed in person, but either way I'm just super thrilled to have this interesting piece of comic history.

I wonder how many members here have a copy of this as JB said he thought only 500 copies were printed.

One of the veeery few JB books I don't own. Over the years, I've seen a few copies for sale -- I just can't justify paying the prices I've seen them marked at.

Congrats on getting one! Impressive!

Trivia: I gave the original art to one of my ACA friends, who, decades later, sold it when she needed money to put her daughters thru college.

A while back, feeling nostalgic, I gave thought to buying it back--and learned the current asking price runs to 5 figures. I'm not that sentimental!

Have a copy?
I've never heard of this comic before.
Can somebody fill me in, please? What is it and when did it get published?
