Yeah, I've been catching some sneak peeks. I'm all over this one!

Scott Dunbier posted an update last week on Facebook:
Scott Dunbier wrote:
NEAL ADAMS’ DC CLASSICS ARTISTS EDITION showed up today, advance copies. It’s a monster. 288 pages plus 5 foldouts. Here are some quick pics I took. There are seven complete stories plus a ton of covers and pages. Ridiculously big. Which is what Neal deserves, a larger than life book for a larger than life man.
There is a truly heartfelt intro by Bill Sienkiewicz.
I believe the book is scheduled for a July release, but check with IDW to be sure.

288 pages! That's literally twice the page count of a lot of artist's editions. And it's twice-up art. I preordered mine last summer for $95, which is feeling more and more like a steal. Depending of course on what kind of fresh havoc will be wreaked by the tariff instability between now and the projected July 8 ship date.

I ordered this big boy, back when the Adams family first offered the variant covers, for sale. Really looking forward to seeing it.

WOW! Looking forward to this one, if I can afford it. Where is it being printed? Will it go up by 25% if it's printed in Canada?

Most “real” books are printed in China.
This book looks great, and it’s on my pull list with my LCS. That being said, it’s been on my pull list for literally years now. So I will believe it only when I hold it in my hands.

Mine arrived today!
Well worth the wait, there's not enough adjectives to describe it.

Got mine Monday. Took me two days of drooling to get through. I am dangerously undereducated about his non-superhero work. I saw some pages from House of Mystery that could have been in Elsewhen!

Looking at this book right now I am just stunned at how Dick Giordano's inks look at this size and on such good paper. Just phenomenal work on his part.
Of course, Neal's work was the best ever produced for comics. Don't want to downplay that but seeing so much in one book is just mind blowing. I have a brand new appreciation of Giordano now and hope there is a Marvel collection of Neal's work coming from IDW. If you're a Neal Adams fan I can't recommend this book highly enough.

It's the best of the best in this one. I scanned the Silent Night of the Batman (first story in the collection!) but a dozen great Spectre pages I scanned didn't even make the cut. Killer collection.
