I remember being on the edge of my seat as I wondered: what would Mike do next?

I seem  to remember a while back reading somewhere that they did eventually find the missing stats of the original art.

Is that correct?

Yes. They’d fallen behind the flat files in the former editor’s office. They were found when DC moved.

By then there was no longer any interest in a color edition, which had been the whole point of shooting the stats in the first place.

Hate to bag on the guy, but isn't "graphics style comic
books" kinda redundant?

I suspect he meant to say “graphic novel style comic books”—tho that doesn’t help much since graphic novels ARE comic books.

Yeah! Come at me elitist snobs!

I just love that he specifies this whole “Mike vs Brother eye” story is not
Kirby’s original vision.

He’s too modest. He deserves all the credit for Mike!

YOU TUBER: Wait a minute, I know you! You're Buddy Blank! You're a super-powered agent of peace!

OMAC: I'm sorry, son, but you must have me confused with someone else. My name is Mike. My goal is to fight Brother Eye.

YOU TUBER: You are Buddy Blank! I've read your graphic-size comic books.

OMAC: I think you should go back to You Tube now. Right, Clarence?

CLARENCE: Ahhh, he's not bothering anyone. Let him stay here.

OMAC: All right, but just remember. My name is Mike.

Wait - there was going to be a color edition of OMAC? It already looks great as-is!

Doing a color edition was DC’s condition for allowing the black and white version.

This was frustrating for me, as it meant I had to modify what I had planned.
