I'm wondering if he'll go for the 2nd amendment soon? Isn't it in place in case the government start getting out of hand?

How exactly is it “getting out of hand”? As long as you obey the law, worship God, vote Republican and ignore inconvenient facts, you are free to do as you wish. I swear, Democrats love to nit-pick over ridiculously trivial things…

And he has just been presented the Nobel Prize by Machado.

By that logic, if Michael Jordan gave me one of his NBA Championship Rings, I am now an NBA Champion.

To semi-parrot of what's being said around the interweb:
I can get take possession of Reggie Jackson's World Series ring, it does not make me a champion.
I wonder how many White House coasters and can insulators were in Machado's swag bag?
Whatever respect I might have had for her has now been flushed down the toilet.
She's no leader. She's a weakling.

"Machado, 58, has sought to have a role in the Venezuelan government and political watchers believe the gesture is intended to soften Trump's posture towards her after he threw his support behind Delcy Rodríguez, the country’s vice president under Maduro."

I'm sure he'll show her the same respect as he had for Elise Stefanik when it came to that UN Ambassador role (and later gubernatorial run in NY), and MTG (once favored, then ostracized after pushing for the release of the Epstein Files). Two high profile MAGA females, now out of his orbit.
Women are just pawns for him in whatever sordid games he plays.

I like a more directly applicable analogy. If Sir Michael Stanley Whittingham gave his Nobel Prize for chemistry to Trump, it wouldn't mean Trump had invented the lithium-ion battery, or knows anything about chemistry.
Now, if there was an award for snatching a sovereign leader, or undermining NATO, or for bad suggestions of where to inject disinfectant, I think he'd be a real candidate.

On what planet is this logical thinking? ‘I’m going to destroy the treaty organisation that is a major part of the deterrent against going to war, through the action of stealing land that I want, under the guise that it will be a deterrent against war’
No one will want to do business with America again.

The email he has sent to the president of Norway is scary as heck. I have said many times I think he is the Anti-Christ - professing peace, causing disunity. He outright says that because they didn't give him the peace prize, he no longer feels an obligation to think purely of peace.
Holy mother of God, that man is going to start WW 3.

Not even the introduction of the Grays Sports Almanac could create such a horrific alternate timeline.
