With many claiming Trump’s illegal, American killing war was created to divert attention from the troublesome Epstein files—which it did—is this oddly timed speech from Mrs Trump supposed to divert attention from the war?

That’s the big question. Especially combined with her desire for the victims
to be interviewed. Something I’m sure hubby Donny REALLY doesn’t want to
see happen. There doesn’t seem to be any plus for MAGA for her to come
forward out of the blue like this. (And it’s not like anyone really believed her
anyway.)

Melania's speech being timed to divert attention from the Iran war was my first thought also. It's testament to what a batshit crazy world we're living in right now that it doesn't seem totally implausible as the rationale for the timing! It also wouldn't surprise me if the speech was just a random chaos bomb tossed out by the current regime for laughs, to keep us all guessing and on the back foot.

Speculation has circled around the idea that she's trying to get ahead of something really bad, creating plausible deniability for whatever we hear. It's awful timing for Trump, of course, since it revives the story when it was subsiding.It was weird and probably not in TFG's best interest, but it wasn't supposed to be.

I thought she was trying to get in front of some
forthcoming revelation from the news media. I didn't for
one second believe she blindsided The Trumpster with the
press conference! As if you could organise all that in
secret!

Well I think Trump found a way to finally push some people too far.
I wondered if it would have been the comparison to him being Jesus that
was made in Good Friday, but that didn’t seem to bother his cult.
But his AI image coupled with his insulting the Pope seem to have started
the ball rolling. Let’s see how much traction this gains eh?
