I was looking over the catalog of graphic novels published by Marvel Arts,Fantastic Four - Full Circle Avengers - The Veracity Trap The upcoming JB book X-Men Elsewhen plus the upcoming Marvel Dimensions, Doctor Strange and Thor books, which do look encouraging.
I have a question for the forum
Which alive and kicking, retired, semi-retired, or marginalized writers and artists would you like to take a shot at a Marvel Arts graphic novel?
Maybe a Doug Moench/Paul Gulacy Shang Chi or a Roger Stern/Mike Zeck Captain America?
Just curious

If he was inclined, a completed LAST GALACTUS STORY' by JB would be awesome (I know the finish is outlined in the FAQ, but that was past-JB, not current-JB).
That "Doom War" JB story? Or the AWC Kang JB story?

The question I was posing was that there are lots of good, solid, seasoned pros out there that are rarely seen anymore.
I'd love to see a Roger Stern & Ron Frenz Captain America GN David Micheline & Bob Layton Iron Man, anybody? or maybe Ron Garney or Dale Keown could take on the Hulk again
Lots of possibilities out there

I wouldn't mind seeing Paul Dini and Alex Ross doing with Marvel characters what they did with those large DC graphic novels years ago. I'd love to see a good solid standalone story painted by Ross for--
CAPTAIN AMERICA THE HULK SPIDER-MAN THOR and whoever else he feels like!

Well, Alex Ross produced both Fantastic Four Full Circle (2022) and the upcoming Marvel Dimensions (due Sept 1 2026) for Marvel Arts.

Can't say I loved FULL CIRCLE, but those DC books are amazing! Blown away by the art, I wonder if people ignored how good (almost perfect) the stories were. Paul Dini is one of the best--but sometimes overlooked--writers.

To answer the original question, are we thinking more "Classic team/series reunion!" or "Something great that's never been seen before!"?
I would love to see Steranko tackle one more great story, perhaps THE SHADOW (for which he's done covers) or even another NICK FURY!
Speaking of the Shadow, Howard Chaykin has given us a few mini-series with the character, but I'd certainly buy a faithful DOC SAVAGE book by him! And THE ROCKETEER seems up his alley too!

A couple of "Why did this never happen?" projects come to mind and would be amazing to finally see in this format:
Steve Englehart wrote a third BATMAN Silver St. Cloud arc for which the late great Marshall Rogers drew one issue before he sadly passed away. Instead of honoring Rogers' efforts and perhaps getting Paul Smith or Art Adams to finish the story, DC cancelled the project. Later, Kevin Smith did a mini-series that ruined Silver St. Cloud and remains (thankfully?) unfinished.
I believe that Don McGregor and P. Craig Russell had one more KILLRAVEN epic planned, but the powers that be said no thank you.
While not exactly marginalized, didn't Adam Hughes start a WONDER WOMAN project that never materialized? I loved his BETTY & VERONICA mini-series and I was impressed by his writing and looked forward to more.
I would buy all three of these without hesitation.

EricI completely agree with you about FULL CIRCLE, I personally found it unnecessary.
Personally I would like to see some 'Unfinished Business' projects or 'The Road Not Taken'. Reuniting some classic teams would nice as well.
I wasn't aware of the KILLRAVEN story, Don McGregor is supposed to be in Calgary next week, I'll ask if I get a chance.
