Yes J.B. very dodgy! Strangely Wyman hasn't suffered the
reputational damage that other celebrity perv's have.

I didn’t know Wyman and Smith had divorced and so soon after their
marriage.

And now Wyman’s son is married to Smith’s mother. That’s not confusing at
all.

Yeah, there's not a whole lot of examples of the reverse being prevalent, is there? I suppose lately you have Cher and Madonna doing their best to even the score :)

I read about Wyman and Smith at roughly the same age as Mandy was when their relationship became public, and it struck me as deeply creepy and wrong then. I don't feel differently now.

"Controversial" is so devalued as a term now as to be almost meaningless. The on-stage antics of GG Allin back in the day might now be characterised as "controversial". A same-sex kiss on an 80s TV series is described with the same word ("at the time"). A dress at a gala that essentially shows the wearer's naked body? Thích Quảng Đức's 1963 act of self-immolation in Saigon?

Controversial stuff all 'round, with widely different contexts, bro.

The dilution of words is one of the crimes of the internet. Witness “haters gotta hate.”

“Hate” is a powerful word, with much emotion backing it up. But when it is attached to the most trivial dislike, we lose its impact in its original context.

Came upon a reference to me “hating” Rob Liefeld. Seriously, not worth the energy.
