I know we beat you by a few months back in 2016, by voting to leave the EU,
but today is the day we hand many of our councils over to a party that this
week announced that it would build detention centres for illegals
immigrants, but only place them in areas where people do not vote for
them.
A party led by a guy who hounded an MP over not paying tax on a house,
while failing to declare a £5 million ‘gift’, and who insists that his girlfriend
managed to buy an £800,000 house despite having no income.

I only hope that in the three years between now and a general election, they
continue to run councils as bad as they have been in the areas that they
already have power.
But then again, seeing how bad they have been running those, and the lack
of effect that has had on voters’ intentions, that is a slim hope.

The death of the UK started with Brexit, takes a giant leap forward today
and will culminate in the general election in 3 years time.
And it can all be placed at the feet of one arsehole named Nigel Farage.

It’s been all downhill for Great Britain ever since I left!

There is a theory it all went to pot when Bowie died.
You leaving is probably the pebble that resulted in that
stone.

Hmmm, I wonder how many degrees of separation between JB and Bowie?

At the risk of thread drift, I can do 5 degrees of separations:

1. Bowie was in Absolute Beginners with Paul Rhys
2. Paul Rhys was in Napoleon directed by Ridley Scott
3. Scott directed the Martian with Chiwetel Ejiofor
4. Chiwetel Ejiofor was in Life of Chuck with Mark Hamill
5. Mark Hamill is a friend of JB.

The easy one is David Bowie > Iman > Shatner > Byrne

I despair of our politicians, i don't think any of them are
fit to lead our country. The optimism and drive of New
Labour in the 90's is long gone and the successive
governments have driven us to our knees.

I despair of our country nowadays. The optimism and drive
of New Labour in the 90's after years of Tory rule are long
gone. I don' think any of the parties has anyone fit to
lead us.

The irony of Reform, is that they include a growing leadersip of old Tory politicians who played a big part in creating the mess the UK is struggling to get out of. I'm surprised Boris hasn't jumped ship too.
