With nothing else to do with itself while I am in the hospital, my mind has been wandering down strange avenues, not traveled in many years.

Consider chicken eggs.

When I was about 14 the wives who lived in the same apartment block my family did, got together to order produce from a local farmer. Milk,butter,eggs. And it all arrived “farm fresh”!

My mother tried it once. Once.

See, she was preparing to fry some eggs for my breakfast, and when she cracked one on the side of the pan, out tumbled the usual uncooked egg stuff.

All shot thru with VEINS!!

As a lot of you probably know, commercial chicken farmers do not allow roosters access to their layers. That was definitely not the case here!

Yuck!!!

That's wild! I can't imagine how my wife would react if she encountered something like that on the stovetop! (PS glad you are on the mend, JB)
