I’m digging the paper on this!

Hmmm… Since this is going to end up on a bookshelf BACK in NC, I’m tempted to get the Kindle version as well.

Speaking of Amazon, a package came in today, so I opened it the moment it showed up on my porch like a kid on Christmas, only to find that it was a shipment of cat food that I had also ordered.

But, the book was actually packaged under it.

Damn, this book is hefty. I can see why it's split up into 3 volumes, though I'm a bit bummed that the next 2 will be a year apart. But in retrospect, these issues started showing up here pre-COVID!!!

It's a compliment to Paul that I am really struggling to determine which pages were inked by him and which were JB. I only knew from previews that #2 was Paul. At this point I'm wondering if only #1 was JB and Paul actually did the rest, outside of the guest inkers.

Love the paper stock. And I mostly love the colors, though I feel the combined with the paper stock sometimes it's a bit too dark and obscures the artwork in places.

So glad to see that it's selling well! It's amusing to find all of these new ELSEWHEN-related threads on social media from comic fans that had no idea this existed. In a way, I envy them - I wonder if their reaction was like those that were around when SUPERMAN/SPIDER-MAN came out of nowhere in '76.

Sorry JB, just a greedy fan who always wants more...

Totally understand and agree with the sentiment about how special the project is. I only meant to express my hope that Abrams has enough material to keep the content coming!

I will be first in line for the ebook editions, hc editions, deluxe editions and omni editions...

The Forbes article is excellent! Those preview pages look
amazing - we have seem some ink previews thanks to Paul
posting this work in real time during the initial page-a-
day release, but I haven't seen previews of the coloring
work and it is fantastic!

I am eager to see what the "Wolverine's cabin" splash page looks like inked and colored, but that'll keep until 2027. Good to have something to look forward to.

Got mine today! If I wasn't in the middle of transferring my old phone's data to a new phone, I'd possibly be trying to figure out how to upload a photo of it looking all pretty on my table!

I just finished reading it.

The story is just as exciting as I remember!

Online “reviews” are mostly positive. One guy noted ELSEWHEN is “not set in the 616 universe.”

A gut punch for an old timer like me, who remembers how fiercely proud Marvel fans once were that there was no need for alternate universes to tidy things up. That was strictly DC foolishness.

(“616” is the Number of the Beast in some Christian cults. They derive their numerical calculations from Hebrew, rather than Greek. Is someone at Marvel being just way too “clever”?)

It’s about half and half. If you look closely You may note Paul interprets eyes somewhat differently from how I do.
