In a serial form like comics, what we call creation is actually more like extrapolation. As I have said, Alpha Flight, aside from Guardian and an early, unrecognizable version of Snowbird, were created by me to be able to survive a battle with the X-Men. Had they been initially pitted against the Avengers or the Fantastic Four they would have been quite different. Same would have been true if the all new, all different X-Men had started with different members.
