I didn't see that on my ballot. Must have been another state's referendum or public question.

Vinny, this was just a generalization (is that a word?) I know that in some cases it won't be true but I've read people saying they didn't vote for Obama but would now support him right here on this thread. That's something impossible in France. That's all and I said I thought it was an asset to the American people.
W Bush was an extreme case.

Bill, at this point what's done is done. I would agree with a lot of what you wrote, just not the tone. Under the circumstances, I don't think we have the luxury of hoping that Obama fails.
