It's impossible to take O'Reilly seriously for that reason. I remember a couple months ago when John Stewart had a hilarious bit where first he showed O'Reilly's comments about Bristol Palin's pregnancy (basically, it's a private family matter, they should be left alone, talking about it is wrong). Then they cut to a clip of O'Reilly talking about Jamie Lynn Spears, in which he said that if a teenage girl gets pregnant it is the parents' fault, and he called Spears' parents "pinheads." Heh.

Thats not the only reason. We all say somethings we regret sometimes. Its how respond when called on those things, and how we admit we are wrong that is the measure of our character. And I've seen how you've handled that in the past so I'll err on the side of your character.

I didn't read what Al wrote but I know him. He's a cool Canadian cat and I count him as a friend. He self edited. He corrected himself. You can beat him up or you can let it be. Choose let it be.

I would hope that the fact that my first response was only there for less than
a minute would help assuage your fears about where I'm at, Marcio. It
posted it, immediately felt ashamed and removed it as quickly as I could.
And everybody else, just cut it out with the "Al's a good guy" stuff.
Nobody's buying it, and according to the contract I have to pay you $25
bucks for every nice thing said. Are you trying to bankrupt me or
something?
Let's move on!
