Everything else is speculation.

As much as I am loathe to use this as an example, here's Fox News' take on it:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0j4hJvqtMdI

Again, speculation Kevin.  Not fact.  Because people don't agree with an opinion based on speculation doesn't mean that they are wrong nor that they deserve this kind of reply:

"So if you're going to allow something like that to sway you towards Clinton, so be it.  Don't let the facts get in the way of actually learning about the candidates."

Do you know that Ray hasn't learned about the candidates and quite possibly come away with a different assessment than you?  You begin that post by saying "You have your opinion, I have mine" but then go on to imply that your opinion is fact.  Not cool.

I don't believe that the coffee shop moment was staged.  I wonder what the motivation for her breakdown was, whether it was what she articulated, or if it was "I can't believe I am going to lose," but I do think her emotions were genuine.  Others may disagree.

I think it was a lose-lose for her either way - if she meant it, well - that's what we need in a leader - someone who breaks down and cries when they don't get their way.

But personally, I wouldn''t buy water from a Clinton in the desert, so you can count me as someone who thought it was typically Clintonian and false.

Let's change the discussion a bit -- who here thinks Obama should debate Clinton before next Tuesday.  I do.

Depends.  Will it be a debate or will it be a rehash of the ABC "debate"?

I don't.  what more could be said that wasn't covered in the last 20+ debates?

Oh, wait, I know what could be - more mud-slinging and charracter assassanation on a public stage.

They need to be interacting with people, not calling each other names on TV.

I would hope we never see a debate like that again.

How about this -- a Town Hall debate, lets get questions from the people!

I'd like to see a Town Hall debate.  That, or maybe we could have one where the candidates are allowed to address each other!

See, Mike, I think that why Obama should agree -- but only if its a town hall debate.  He needs to interact with the people.  He needs to show how he is the child of working class people.  Hillary has painted Obama as the "elite" one, and allowed the whispers that he is more comfortable with Ivy Leaugers rather than union members.  He is not winning "Reagan Democrats."  A Town Hall could cure that.  And he needs to show he has some balls.  He was angry at Wright yesterday -- he should use that Anger in a debate with Hillary.  Who is she to suggest he's out of touch with working class people?  He should take her on.  He needs to show some fire to bury her.  He does not (and should not go negative) -- he should show why he is the better candidate, as much for the voters of North Carolina and Indiana as for the Super Delegates

I agree with that, Geoff - Hillary sure understands the logic of making her own truths, doesn't she?

******************************

Perhaps not, but when I see comments like this:  But the more I hear bullshit comments like this from his supporters, the more I'm liking Clinton. The more I make comments about actually researching facts.

Also, as far as you know, I did base MY opinion on fact.  I do read and go through many news sites, including CNN and Fox.  I saw the comments made about Clinton crying.  The prevailing sentiment was that she was more than likely faking it.  I agreed.

All I'm saying is it takes is doing some reading before anyone can base an opinion on it.  I did that, and I will continue to do that.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Let's change the discussion a bit -- who here thinks Obama should debate Clinton before next Tuesday.  I do.

*********************************

She suggested donig a "Lincoln-Douglas" style debate.  I'm all for that.  However, I don't think she has an idea what that format truly is....  It's not just a debate without a moderator.  The format is the current leader in votes begins and talks for an hour.  The opponent responds for 90 minutes.  Then the other candidate responds for 30 minutes.  End of debate.  In that case, it would be Obama, Clinton, Obama.

Seriously, do you think she'd really want that type of debate?
