is there a check list of things that are supposed to change under "O"?   I'd like to print it out and check them off as they happen.  I was reading on CNN that he's already stated he can't pull the troops out as promised during the campaign.

Valerie, thanks for the answer. One thing though. Would you support a religious politician if he was not Catholic?

Republicans ask: Just how bad is it?

True to form, Republicans live in their own world. The economy is disintegrating, peoples' futures are being obliterated, and all they can think of is themselves.

Not any longer, apparently.

BAGHDAD (Nov. 16) - Iraq's Cabinet overwhelmingly approved a security pact with the United States on Sunday, ending prolonged negotiations to allow American forces to remain for three more years in the country they first occupied in 2003,

How does an established timetable for the U.S. troops to pull out (plus pulling U.S. troops out of Iraqi cities by June 30th of next year) translate to Iraq no longer wanting the troops out?

Do you do this with every elected official, Bill, or just the ones you hate?

Well, in all fairness, Matt, Obama and his supporters certainly have raised expectations to an unbelievably high level.

Doesn't really matter.  "In all fairness" one wouldn't create a checklist just for a politician they hate so that they can smarmily post on a message board before the president-elect even gets into office.  "In all fairness" one would hold all politicians accountable.  Bill's vitriolic posts in this thread after Obama's win, however, leads me to believe the phrase "in all fairness" isn't in his vocabulary.
