Hey, I'd vote Gibson in 2010! Maybe your campaign slogan could be, "A comic book in every pot."

That would get me about 7 votes!

---

You might win some more if you switch it around to "Pot in every comic book."

Frighteningly, I had the same thought!

Reagan as a Democrat seems 180 degrees opposite of what he stood for in 1980, or atleast what Republicans of today, who say they are Reagan consvervatives, say they are for.

Just a month left to go and the Republicans still might be able to plunge the economy into a full-out Depression. A-ma-zing.

Dems have had Congress for two years.  Fannie/Freddie was Dems' pet corporation.  Obama ran on a platform of windfall taxes, capital gains tax hikes, corporate tax hikes... what did you really expect to happen?

And all the entrenched DC career politicians are getting Cabinet seats.  That doesn't concern you at all?  It's going to be business as usual.

I would've given Obama a chance if he'd really thought outside the box and not brought in cronies, lobbyists, and former Clinton era pols.  Imagine if he'd recruited completely out of DC.  That would've been change that just about anyone could believe in.

"Dems have had Congress for two years. "

=====================

Big money and their pet politicians have had America for decades, and continue to do so.

=====================

"Fannie/Freddie was Dems' pet corporation."

It didn't cause the financial crisis. Nobel prize winning economist Paul Krugman explains it here.

=====================

"Obama ran on a platform of windfall taxes, capital gains tax hikes, corporate tax hikes"

So his platform went back in time and caused Wall Street to gamble away all of the nation's wealth?

=====================

And all the entrenched DC career politicians are getting Cabinet seats.  That doesn't concern you at all?  It's going to be business as usual.

=====================

As a verging-on-anarchy Leftist, there are many things I don't like about the Clintons. But they did leave the economy in FAR better shape than that high-functioning moron GWB. If Obama can use them, without being getting used by them, the more power to his adminstration.
