Remove the costs associated to 9/11 and the war from the chart (items that Clinton didn't have to budget for) and I wonder what it would look like?

The war was not just something that happened.  Bush made the decision to start the war, and so anything spent on it was money he chose to spend.  Why should he not be held accountable for a deliberate expenditure he made during his term that squandered billions of dollars?  Why should he be given a free pass on a reckless decision he made that added billions to the deficit?

Actually the war in Iraq is a success.  Give the devil his due, he built up the Amercian forces and they were able to make the region stable.

If the region was truly stable then our troops would not need to be there anymore.  If the region was even showing signs of lasting stability then at minimum we would be able to start reducing the amount of troops there.  I don't think even George Bush would try to argue that the region is "stable" at present.

"Regional stability" is one of those official euphemisms for "our (corporate) self-interests rammed up foreign asses." Look, so long as the U.S. foreign policy takes sides in the eternal madness that is the Middle East, whether overtly through boots on the ground or covertly through money and subterfuge, terrorists will go after us. By invading Iraq, all that Bush has accomplished is to make international terrorism a far greater threat than ever before.

What is this "suit" that you speak of?

I wear a suit everyday.  The trend toward "business casual" has started to reverse (at least in my field).  I don't mind wearing suits -- its the ties I hate!

Geoff,

When do we get to see those hot, muscle fotos of you in the wet, white briefs that show ALL?

No such pictures exist, far too fat, prudish and modest (not necessarily in that order either) to have such pictures taken.  Sorry.
