They didn't have the turnout rate for 2004 for the primary in Florida but in 2000 the rate was 12.7% (D & R combined).

----

Wasn't Florida's primary in 2000 after Gore's strong showing on Super Tuesday? I don't think that metric can be used for anything regarding this election.

More times than not, master politician=blowhard jerk.

No.  Clinton was at a private fund raiser the night before the primary.  She was not campaigning in the state.

You sure about that Scott?

It's terrible Geoff - I am forced to respect her now.

So confused.

Do you respect every fellow KISS fan?  I'm sure you don't.  Think of her as the guy in front of you who is hammered drunk and singing lound enough, badly enough with the wrong words that he's ruining your good time.  Imagine her as that guy.  You can get through this.

And, they invited her to come over.  Not the other way around.

Well, I'm kind of kidding - but you know, you hear a lot of stuff about how - you know, she's deserving of respect, but so far, she's done nothing to gain my respect - she's been a key part of the problem!

So, knowing that she's a KISS fan?  I finally have one thing I can respect about her.

But just one.

Granted Horace - she was invited (Gene and Paul, both very socially liberal, are both very conservative militarily, and both love the war.) but she did say she was a fan, and was pleased to meet them, and had a favorite song, so, begrudgingly, I give her credit for that.

Atta girl, Condi!

I give props when it's called for - I think Bush did good work for Africa.  Kind of.  Well... the funding was good - the pushing abstanance in the face of the AIDS crisis is part of what assures his place in hell, but power to him for listing and increasing funding.

Hm.  guess I can't give him 100% credit for anything, but he gets partial credit for that one.

I am so disillusioned by this administration I am not sure I can give them partial credit for anything . . . except . . . they pissed off Springsteen.  And Springsteen pissed off writes great music.  So that is a plus.

And, speaking as a KISS fan, let's not forgot that Mr. Simmons LOVES attention.  ANY kind of attention.

"ANY kind of attention. "

That explains his guest appearance on "Ugly Betty".
