All the delegates seated, but reduced in their impact by half. Exactly what the Republicans did a YEAR ago when they dealt swiftly and decisively with the same problem!
All this drama and trauma when this should have been the punishment/solution all along!
GOD, I HATE MY PARTY SOMETIMES! IDIOTS!

The Puerto Rican turnout looks to be very low so it appears likely that Clinton will not get enough votes to take the popular vote lead.

I've supported Hillary throughout and I admire her tenacity more than anything, but it's time for her to bow out. People who have tried to push her out of the race up until now have been out of line; the process has been working as designed (even if that design is flawed) and she had every right to stay in until the last primary vote is counted. Her only legitimate argument for staying in beyond this point, and it would be a thin argument at best, would be if she surpassed Obama in the popular vote. It's gotta be hard for her to swallow; its not like Obama has some huge mandate of support from the people -- he's barely squeaking by with less than 1% more of the actual votes, and that's excluding Florida and Michigan -- but he's won the race by any other quantifiable objective.

Thom, in all fairness, Obama supporters haven't been asking her to bow out because the system has been out of line - we just want her to bow out!
It's kind of like how I send daily e-mails to Bush asking "Sir, would you please do America a favor and leave office early?"
All I get in return are letters saying my IRS problem is resolved.

Or you are easily mislead.
Well, since I live in the US and in Florida, I would think my view of what occured in Florida would be a bit closer than the view of someone who doesn't even live in the US.
I wouldn't presume to know more about Canadian politics than you.

Well, you seem to be the only one in this thread who is choosing to believe
that she was not campaigning there.
Answer me this: How does a candidate attend a fundraiser without said act
being intrinsically one of campaigning?

Scott:
you wrote: "No. Clinton was at a private fund raiser the night before the primary. She was not campaigning in the state."
I pointed out that she was in the state at "victory party" the day of the primary. After she was declared winner -- but the day the votes were cast. As made clear in the article I cited, in the days leading up to the primary she was in the state and getting endorsements from democratic state leaders -- all done prior to the primary. What does that sound like to you?
It sounds like the private fund raisers she was attending. There is a difference between fund raising and campaigning. She avoided the media until after the primary was done.

I think a press conference in which the President unleashed a hoard of zombies would totally kick @$$. I'd pay money to see that.
Hmmm. HBO just did the Recount movie. Maybe this will give them another idea...

By not having the media present and not making it a free, open to the public event. And she wasn't doing it for weeks leading up to the primary. It was the day before the primary so even if it had gotten press buzz (which it didn't until after) it wouldn't have had time to make an impact.
