WAIT!!!!!!!! oh hell no, that's not my family.

They are called the Duggars and there is a TV show about them. "OK let's reward the over breeders (Yeah I said it!!!!)) with their own show."

My thoughts exactly.

Sorry Geoff but when they start reporting that dogs are the ones molesting 99.9% of the time in my community, I will stop trusting dogs with my child.

Is it profiling, yep I am sure it is, but I will not chance my childs safety for fear that I am not looking PC enough.

Dogs are not human beings and their rights are not guaranteed by the constitution.  But I really understand the desire to protect what we hold dear.  If thats your position I can accept it, though I will disagree with it.  But I will ask are you consistent with that position?  Do you think racial profiling is acceptable if it can be supported by statistics?  One argument for racial profiling is statistics show group x is more inclined to commit a crime than group y.  By extension I trust you have no issue with searching every arab who gets on a plane.  Or by extension that you had no issue with wire taps by the Bush administration because it to protect us from terrorists.  Right?

According to this page, 89% of cases involve relatives or acquaintances.  So, if one is going to profile, one shouldn't just do it for strangers, they should profile everyone.

Brian Talley: Providing message board threads with a breath of fresh air
since 2004. In the most inappropriate manner, mind you, but a breath of
fresh air nonetheless.

Profiling is not just a racial issue. It hurts everyone, including, ultimately,
those it is meant to protect.

So some profiling is okay, but some isn't, is that your position?
