I know I keep hearing some republicans say "we want less government"
Now here is a question, less government, more control to private enterprise, would we be better off or not?

I don't think he's been a good president, but I also don't think he is as devious as some believe him to be.

I agree completely I don't think he is smart enough to do all that is happening, I think Cheney is the head of satan. GB2 is just the clueless puppet.

I know about the Iran-Contra deal. I was talking specifically about a conspiracy theory I'd heard about that Reagan cut a deal with the hostage takers to make Carter look bad before the election. (It's not a theory I give any credence to, just thought it'd be fun to bring it up.) And I was too lazy to look up the details.
