The Greek Temple Brouhaha is a triffle silly, isn't?
Oh, I definitely think it's silly and a non-issue.
But that doesn't matter if it gives the impression that it gives. Once an impression is made it can't be un-made no matter how silly it may be. My big surprise is that his camp didn't even think about how it might come across.
It doesn't matter that some Washington DC architecture is inspired by Greek desgin. No matter how innocent or clever something might seem, if it doesn't send the right message it's bad.

Whittington apologizing to Cheney for being shot BY him was one of the most bizarre things I had ever seen.
Repubs are grasping at straws with this supposed "roman column' reference. Anything for a buzz word I guess. I have no problem with it... that is unless Obama comes out tonight wearing a toga and a crown of laurel leaves...
On second thought, he'd definitely get my vote for doing just that!

Knut didn't write that. Scott did. Based on Knut's past posts I cannot imagine he has any problems, per se, with Musilms, Arabs or any other group.

Hey, Marc, I listed a couple of McCain jokes on a previous page, one of which was referring to McCain and Obama as "McCain and Able". That's what Scott was referring to, before he used it for evil!
