Geoff -- can I tell you how hard it was to get off their damn mailing list? Seriously! Even after the email I sent that said, "If you send me one more piece of email, I'll vote Republican!"

My father had the same problem! Spent months trying to get removed from their mailing lists (I think they were sending literature to the house too). It was almost as bad as Amway! :o)

I find MoveOn to be nearly as dreadful, sinister, and manipulative as any Swiftboater. That kind of politicing totally turns me off.

I joined ChangeCongress.org. I really think this is something that both sides of the aisle should be able to get behind. That is if they are ethical....go check it out.
They are really about removing all of the political chaff that gets in the way of keeping politics honest.

It's not all; but campaigners on both side are faced with a conundrum. If legitimate gripes with their opponent seem to have no effect on his popularity, but silly criticisms work, what are they supposed to do?
The same thing works in reverse. Most of the criticism about McCain is just as silly and baseless.

LOL, Nancy Pelosi was a horrible speaker at the DNC, I don't think that woman could get a man in prison excited.
