Damn so many things to respond to it makes a girls head spin.

I don't even know what to make of it yet... except to congratulate McCain on being a clever, clever boy.

LMAO

I'll admit that Bush and his team have done a lousy job of consensus-building and reaching out to Democrats; that's been the fatal flaw of his administration, I believe.

That and he's an idiot.

Finally someone in the White House prettier than JFK!

Why hello Mr Byrne! Which the VP woman or Obama, because Obama is pretty cute?

My DVR gives me two weeks of advance listings, here they are:

Episode 1: Barack Obama's Muslim and radical upbringing
Episode 2: Barack Obama's Radical Friends
Episode 3: Barack Obama's Drug Use
Episode 4: Barack Obama and Reverand Wright: Best Friends Forever
Episode 5: Barack Obama Wants To Destroy Marriage
Episode 6: Barack Obama is the Boogyman
Episode 7: Barack Obama Doesn't Recycle
Epsidoe 8: Barack Obama Doesn't Like Flag Pins
Episode 9: Barack Obama Double Dips His Chips
Episode 10: Barack Obama is a Democrat

Geoff ,seriously laughed so hard I made a snorting sound.

Palin's a great choice for him, I don't know much about her, must do some research. McCains got Liberman and now a woman , what the hell is he doing, building his own Rainbow Coalition. :0)  Thank god though it wasn't Romney.

I think that unless Obama's campaign changes course substantially, McCain has the election just about wrapped up.

*********************

I was thinking the complete opposite.

One of McCain's "strongest" arguments about Obama not having enough experience is now gone.  Palin has far less experience.  She's probably way too feminist for some women, including those who may or may not be disgruntled Hillary supporters.  And she comes with some baggage as well:  http://www.anchoragepress.com/site/basicarticle.asp?ID=748

Having just heard her speak:

Man does Palin have a shrill voice and a grating speaking style--I could
barely stand to listen.

: )

Putting the cart before the horse with that statement.  She and McCain aren't there quite yet, if ever.

Thing is, which would you rather be the inexperienced one, the President or the Vice President?

Since McCain is so old and could die any minute, the VP on his side is pretty important. But until I know more about her, I will reserve judgement.

Does that emoticon mean you're kidding, or that you think you're witty?

Since McCain is so old…

Realizing that McCain, if he should get elected to a second term, would be
80 when he leaves office, makes me think once again that we need age
limits on that job. We already have them at the younger end, time to impose
an upper limit, too.

Well, she loses me here:

'Creation science' enters the race GOVERNOR: Palin is only candidate to suggest it should be discussed in schools.

Making fun of what they constantly said about Hillary's early speeches,
mostly, JB.

But she does have a high pitched voice and she kept breaking up her
rhythm.

So I guess a little bit of both.

Well, while I was hoping for Pawlenty, I think this is a really good choice. Being a Minnesotan, I know what a great candidate Pawlenty is, a real "average guy" type. But I kept thinking he wouldn't really do anything for McCain on a national scale. And I was really hoping it wasn't Romney - Republicans chose McCain over him overwhelmingly, so why go there?

One thing I'm happy about: age and experience will no longer be something to talk about, which forces everyone to actually talk about the issues instead (or at least try).

I was wondering a few weeks ago if anyone has used the phrase "Obama Nation" for good or bad?

Are there any slogans such as "I'm voting for an Obama Nation"?
