I think Obama got the nomination for the wrong reasons

As a Democrat I liked the Clintons, I felt Hillary was right on target with her health care concerns and we were in better shape as a country when Bill was in. I was a Biden girl first, then I learned a lot about Obama, this man is not fluff, he is a real deal. he has a bigger vision for us, which scares me, because we seem to kill people with dreams of a better world.:0(

This seems like an inspired move on McCain's part to me.

There is virtually no way you can draw any parallels between Palin and Cheney -- this alone makes McCain's choice inspired, because it takes all the wind out of the "four more years of Bush" argument.

Given the fact that Palin is a Washington "outsider" with administrtive experience as a governor, a McCain/Palin ticket looks nothing like a Bush/Cheney ticket, and attacking Palin as "inexperienced" only serves to underscore Obama's own lack of experience.

Pretty masterful move by McCain, IMO.

I do not think that Palin is like Cheney, Satan is like Cheney, not Palin. :0)

Or is Cheney, Satan, I always get those two confused.

Palin pulled the plug on the "bridge to nowhere".

I just realized that for the first time in my life there's a candidate for President or Vice-President who is younger than I am. Makes me feel really old.

My point exactly --- which would you prefer, Emperor Palpatine or an attractive mother of five who is known for exposing government corruption?
