First I love to hear what Rich says and agree with most, don't change Rich, you have reasons to be pissed, the last 7 1/2 years gave you plenty.
Your point seems to be that you want untrue stories to be reported as news.
No he wants "Fair and Balanced" LOL like on Faux News to every candidate or no candidate.
edited to add: I love how some republicans jump on their high horse and trample people with lies and half truths then when they are put to the same thing they cry foul.

Marc's point seems to be that the Republican's wanted the Edward's case to be covered BEFORE it was proven so what's the problem in covering Palin?

Come on. Let's just cut to the chase, you know full well my initial post was about the STRIKING SIMILARITIES between two evidence-lacking, blogosphere related stories. You then leaped to "the difference is the Edwards story was true" and that started it rolling. You still CAN'T even say that ALL aspects of the Edwards story "was true" since we lack a DNA test. Yet, you CAN say that the Palin story is untrue. Based on what, her denial? We had that from Edwards too, remember?
My point, again, is all the similarities and the double-standards in the reactions. NOT the as yet to be uncovered FACTS & EVIDENCE.

It happens. However, the SECOND Palin opens her mouth about family values in this campaign, I want the media mentioning that little tidbit the SECOND after they report what she spews.
I have been reading up on Palin the last few days and frankly, while I was originally concerned she would the critical ingredient to put McCain over the top, now I am convinced she will be known as McCain's Folly.
