Well, it was fun right up UNTIL then...

LOL, for the guy that got shot, I can hear Cheney though bragging "Don't Fuck with me, you know I've shot a man!" LOL

I felt like checking this thread out since I follow politics.  I only made it to two posts.

This was probably the stupidiest comments I have seen about the election.

****************

This woman is a very selfish Mom.

***************

and then this one gave it a run for the money.

***************

There are some great new photos of the daughter showing underage
drinking (well, underage holding of alcoholic beverage, anyway) and
brandishing firearms with her beau.

My parents always told me that my behavior reflects upon them. Would say
the same thing in this, albeit public, case as well.

******************

I have voted for both Democrats and Republican, but the Dems look incredibly desperate right now as they go after Palin, especially when they didn't get the bounce out of the convention they wanted.  Just sad people are willing to run with any rumors they hear about Palin.

Geez, I would. I'd milk shooting someone in every conversation I ever had
after it happened!

"Hey, how you doin'? I shot a guy in Texas once, just to watch him lie."

Gee Ron sorry we haven't had your hatefullness on here before now :0)

Edited to add: Oh then there are lots of stupid ladies out there, I went to a school PTO thing today and almost every woman there thought it was a piss poor job of mothering to expose her daughter to this.

Here we go!  Obama being stupid today, comparing his "experience" running a presidential campaign to Palin's "experience" as Governor of Alaska.

First, it was just a stupid comment.  Second, it's even STUPIDER because it defies ancient wisdom that says: don't interfere when your enemy is in the process of destroying themselves --- or in other words, the McCain/Palin camp has been having a VERY bad week, so KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!

Things like this are why I keep saying Obama might very well snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I do think the campaigning process would have to season one somewhat - especially the historic slog Obama just wrapped up.

There's a difference between making the decision and acting upon it and being plucked up and plopped into your position.  Of course, we don't know Palin's personal amibitions so there's no telling how big a difference.

Let me ask this of the people on here, list 5 things that are most important to you and how does your candidate support those issues?

(You can not mention or direct your answer to the opposing side.)

It's a kind of, put your money where your mouth is question.

I am not the one attacking candidates

If it was a man with a teenage daughter that is pregnant it wouldn't be an issue.  I hope your PTO thing isn't representative of stronger women in this country

Uh, Ron - How is my post stupid? I was just pointing out that this is the
latest thing to hit some of the news sites. Further, your family DOES impact
on how the parent is perceived. And it's not a rumor - from her former
myspace account.

Wow Jodi.  What an unfair and skewed question.  There are a great many people who are voting McCain because he's the lesser of two evils.  They feel Obama would destroy this country.  Where does that fit in your agenda..errr...question?  How are those people supposed to answer?

Here's one for you, Jodi, do you still French kiss your father?  You can not editorialize your answer.  Simply answer yes or no.  See how that works?

Wow! Now asking a simple, direct question is skewed and unfair! Might as
well throw in the towel at this point with Mr. Richards, Jodi. There's no point
discussing anything with someone who keeps moving the goal posts on you.
