Most of 'em are purely evil, but I can often trick them into doing mundane tasks around the house ('cept they keep eating all my donuts... D'OH!)

Wouldn't that be handy?  You could send out 4 of them to work and then stay at home and sleep in!

OK, now I'm dying of curiousity: what do you do for a living, Michael?

Fox news employee?

Vengeful was implied by the suggestion that he was not being truthful about
Palin's book banning attempt. Defeated + trying to discredit Palin =
vengeful.

 QUOTE:
It's human nature to be a bit bitter when you've been defeated.  No one likes to lose.

Agreed but it's a bit of a jump from bitter about losing to lying about your former opponent in a magazine as prestigious as Time.

Al, I think Scott's point was simply that defeated candidates usually aren't the most objective sources about their rivals who beat them. Not that they are always lying, just that we should take their words with the proverbial grain of salt.

And there's five of Tom? I hope your clones all got you a wedding gift.

Nah -- I'm just your average, underpaid teacher.  That's why I'm anxious for the tax cuts to be made permanent -- the awesome trickle down I'll get!!!!

I don't have a particularly hard time believing that she made an effort to ban books from the library, given her stated views vis a vis abortion and creationisim...it is typically(though not always) the religious zealots that are trying to get things banned from libraries these days...
Plus, this seems like a rather innocuous thing to make up to discredit someone...a lot of people would just say "so?" and move on...

I however feel very strongly about this issue.

I get that, Bruce. Time would have considered that as well. I think Adam
Hutchinson put it best, though: "it's a bit of a jump from bitter about losing
to lying about your former opponent in a magazine as prestigious as Time."

I find that I am much more comfortable with Tom French's Clone Wars than I ever was with Spider-Man's!

I had an economics professor who brought up the "Trickle Down" Theory. He asked us if we felt we'd "been trickled on" long enough yet.
