Yes she was mayor of a town with a population of little more 5,000 according to the last census, and has been governor of Alaska (the 47th state in terms of population) for just under two years. Whoa!

Yeah. She should be from a big state like Delaware.

Again, I'll reference the Daily Show's juxtaposition of Karl Rove's thoughts
on Tim Kaine as a potential running mate for Obama versus his thoughts on
Sarah Palin as John McCain's running mate.

(I can't call up a link to the relevant video clip, though, dammit! Comedy
Central doesn't play nice with Canadians.)

Granted, both states have less people than the city of San Francisco, but... according to the 2000 Census:

Alaska: 626,932

Delaware: 783,6000

You can do better than that, Christopher.  Leave the clumsy infantile posts to Scott, will ya?

Joe:  Obama was a community worker and a law professor. Both men have done a lot.

Completely fair.  Nobody can criticize either of them as not working hard.  For that matter, all senators and all governors have to be hard, ambitious workers.

Alaska: 626,932

Delaware: 783,6000

And you think that makes a difference?  Is the cutoff 700,000?

Al, I saw the Daily show clips of Rove (and others) basically doing 180s on their positions now that Palin is the Vice-Presidential pick.  Best part of the show was Newt Gingrich saying he agreed completely with Karl Rove (done with a sense of irony, for those who didn't see it).

Christopher maybe if she was from a small state and had more than very minor experience then I would be less hard on her.

Joe Biden: 35 Years in the US Senate, including serving on the Judiciary & Foreign Relations Committees for at least most of that time.

Sarah Palin: 2 Years Governor of Alaska, plus 6 years as mayor of a small city.

Which would rather have a heart beat away from leading the free world?

The slagging of community organizers at the RNC yesterday pissed me off
pretty good - since I have a MSW with a concentration in COMMUNITY
ORGANIZING!

Scott, it is indeed, a heavy burden, having to tolerate fussing and crying from an infantile moron while trying to carry on a political discussion.

Rather than cut and paste all the fussing, ranting and crying you've done to several posters over the last dozen or so pages, I'll just have pity for you since all you've had to go through is obviously affecting your mental state.  I've been trying to hold back some because of your condition.  But people like you don't deserve free passes because of their condition.  A jerk is still a jerk no matter their condition so I'm more than happy to call you on it.

Adam, by that reasoning Jesse Helms should have been the obvious choice for president.
