I think Geoff should have chosen McCain's running mate
Funny enough they didn't even ask my opinion!

I'm glad Palin isn't running for president. I just can't stand that woman's voice. A republican commentator on the radio today said "at least its not as bad as Hillary Clinton's". Hillary ain't running anymore! The democratic commentator said she was glad to see a woman running for VP just not this woman.
She does have crazy eyes that have the "I destroy my enemies" look in them but some people will see that as a plus.

Well, you and Geoff are decent folk, Jodi. In fact - I was kind of just deflecting the noise - point of fact, there's a lot of guys in this thread alone that I think are decent folk.

Yep Obama is the one out of touch with the little guy.
Geoff if you had been McCains running mate I would have thought long and hard about who I would support, but I got to get my picture with Obama, and let me tell you, the man smelled good, I would have to smell you first before I made my mind up . LOL

My goodness, Geoff, you're going to get me liking blondes* yet.
The delicious Elizabeth Banks is an existing, and spectacular, pre-
exception to this rule, of course.

Scott - let's be clear here - I have no friends on here. You don't like my behavior, stop the converstion. I'm not randomly attacking you - I post something, you toss me snark, I toss it back
Mike - let's be clear here. You and I weren't even having a conversation then out of the blue you posted:
Awkwardly points out to Scott that he is, by Keith's definition, a "nutjob", due to his irrational assumption that President Obama will somehow bring about "Socialism".
So quit playing the martyr. You started the whole thing so don't get your panties in a bunch when someone calls you on it.

Scott don't think I directed that comment to only Mike, I think Mike is a pretty good guy. I just don't want the great points he's making, muddled with the pissing match you guys had going.
Nothing I said implied that I thought it was directed only at Mike. I even said I'd behave (admission that I wasn't) if he would. He attacked me out of the blue so I responded in kind.

I don't think that Palin is the vunderchild everyone paints her out to be. She certainly gave a smooth speech and there's no denying that her presentation met and exceeded Republican expectations for her part... but all she really did is give the RNC a breath of excitement that the tired convention had been sorely lacking up to that point. She gives great presentation, but so far that's just about it.
What matters now is if she can bear the scrutiny for the months to come, and she's going to have to shut up and take it. For such a "newcomer" to the scene, everyone is going to picking through her life with a fine-tooth comb - and nothing is off-limits. To expect otherwise is hypocritical.

And lemme tell ya...these are Crazy Eyes |

Maybe so, Todd, but there are those of us who actually dig chicks with crazy eyes. I present to you one of my favorite examples, which we will call "Exhibit A":
